Sound Check is a special program by Elpa Shaw that invites audiences to listen with intention—treating sound not merely as technology, but as culture, design, and everyday living. The program offers a slow, immersive listening experience in Talat Phlu and is presented as part of Bangkok Design Week 2026.
Program Highlights
Heritage Exhibition
A narrative exhibition tracing Elpa Shaw through sound, time, and memory—from early audio equipment to emotional listening experiences that require presence and feeling.
Curated Sound Listening Club (Hi-Fi Listening Club)
A first for Bangkok Design Week, featuring unhurried listening sessions in a salon-like setting, curated by creative and cultural guests. Music is played from digital files and vinyl across vintage-to-high-end Hi-Fi systems.

Where Sound Meets Canvas – Listening Room
A multisensory space where Hi-Fi sound meets abstract art, curated in collaboration with musician Thanachai Ujjin—inviting visitors to listen, observe, and feel simultaneously.
Toward a New Language of Home Living
An exploration of contemporary living where sound, art, design, and lifestyle are conceived as one integrated experience.
