Phanom Rung Festival 2026

The Phanom Rung Festival 2026 invites visitors to experience one of Thailand’s most remarkable cultural events at Phanom Rung Historical Park in Buriram.

The highlight of the festival is the spectacular sunrise phenomenon, where sunlight passes through all 15 aligned doorways of the ancient Phanom Rung temple, an architectural marvel that occurs only a few times each year.

The event also features cultural parades, traditional performances, and a cultural marketplace celebrating the heritage of the ancient Khmer civilization and the local traditions of Buriram.
