Morse Code in Action

Morse Code in Action is an interactive workshop that invites participants to explore the science and art of telegraph communication through hands-on Morse code activities at The Wireless House One Bangkok.

The workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn how early telecommunications systems worked and how Morse code was used to transmit messages across long distances.

Workshop Activities

Telegraph Message Demonstration

Participants will experience a historical simulation of early Thai wireless telegraph communication between the Saladaeng and Songkhla stations.

Attendees can write short messages that will be transmitted using Morse code and decoded at the receiving station. The decoded message will be printed on a specially designed postcard that participants can keep as a souvenir.

Morse Code Practice

Learn the fundamentals of Morse code by practicing how to send signals and interpret sounds. Amateur radio operators will guide participants step-by-step, making it accessible even for beginners with no prior knowledge.
