Korat Grand Songkran Festival 2026

The Korat Grand Songkran Festival 2026 will be held from April 12–15, 2026 at the Wat Phra Narai Maharaj Worawihan and Thao Suranari Monument Square in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. The highlight of the festival is the Procession of Phra Kanthararat Buddha Image and the City Gate Ritual, both of which symbolize the continuation of Korat’s traditional Songkran heritage.

The festival features Buddhist merit-making ceremonies, water pouring rituals for elders, cultural performances, and traditional Thai music and dance. Visitors can enjoy both the spiritual aspects of Songkran and the festive atmosphere, making it one of the most significant cultural events in Northeastern Thailand.
