International Fancy Kite Festival
The International Fancy Kite Festival is a cultural and family-friendly event celebrating the art of kite flying, Thai heritage, and community learning. Organized under the Buddhist cultural preservation project “Following the Footsteps of Phra Ruang,” the event is hosted by Wat Nong Wong School in Sukhothai in collaboration with local organizations and the Thailand Kite Flyers Association.
Visitors will experience the beauty of traditional Thai kites alongside international kite displays, educational talks, and hands-on creative activities designed for all ages.
