The Bangkok Art and Culture Centre Foundation, in collaboration with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, invites the public to attend “Continuing the Royal Vision toward the Restoration of the Sculpture Garden”, an official launch event for the restoration of public sculptures at Benjasiri Park, Bangkok.
This initiative honors the legacy of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, widely revered as “The Royal Patron of the Arts”. Benjasiri Park is Bangkok’s first community-level public park featuring a curated collection of 21 sculptures by nationally renowned Thai artists, created in tribute to Her Majesty’s lifelong dedication to preserving and promoting the arts as a national heritage.
The event presents the progress of the restoration project and highlights the importance of collaboration between public institutions, private partners, communities, and the city in safeguarding public art. It also reinforces Benjasiri Park’s role as a living cultural space—one that connects art, history, and people while strengthening Bangkok’s identity as a capital of creativity.
