Textile as Cultural Memory and Identity
The exhibition traces the journey of Thai Yuan communities who migrated from the Mekong River basin to the Mae Klong River region, bringing traditional weaving knowledge that later became a key cultural identity of Ratchaburi.
The Teen Jok Sin (traditional woven skirt) is more than clothing — it represents life stories, faith, resilience, and Buddhist belief systems passed down through generations.
Three Signature Pattern Lineages
- The exhibition highlights Teen Jok textile patterns from three major communities:
- Khu Bua
- Nong Pho – Bang Kado
- Don Rae
While patterns vary slightly, they share the same cultural spirit and heritage roots.
Living Heritage for Future Generations
This exhibition presents textiles as a living language of faith and inspiration, connecting historical heritage with contemporary cultural appreciation.
