MONO JAPAN Fair 2026

MONO JAPAN Fair 2026 took place from January 23–25, 2026 at the Supernova Hotel in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, marking the 10th anniversary of the fair since its debut in Amsterdam in 2016. The event celebrates Japanese craftsmanship, design, and culture, bringing makers and visitors together through creativity and exchange.

Exhibitors included Japanese designers and artisans showcasing techniques with natural materials such as textiles, ceramics, and bamboo. The program featured cultural workshops like Mochi making, Koji & Tsukemono (fermented pickles), Glowing Washi lamp crafting, and Japanese brush painting and philosophy, offering participants hands-on experiences with traditional and contemporary Japanese practices.

Beyond exhibitions, MONO JAPAN embodies the philosophy of “i-shoku-ju” (clothing, food, and housing), presenting Japanese lifestyle in a holistic way. It serves as a cultural bridge, connecting Japan with Europe and inspiring audiences through design, craft, and culinary traditions.
