Bangkok, Thailand — 333Artlink, proudly presents the contemporary art exhibition “Part of, Not Apart From,” on view from July 13 to September 30, 2025, at noble PLAY, Phloen Chit, Bangkok. Admission is free.

At its core, Part of, Not Apart From reflects on the undeniable interconnectedness of humans and the natural world. Through the works of four Thai artists — Amornthep Mahamart, Chatchaiwat Chungchoo, Pratchaya Charernsook, and Waritsara Jirattitijaroen — the exhibition invites audiences to reconsider humanity’s role within the environment. Spanning sculpture, installation, and experimental creations, the exhibition presents traces of human existence — imprinted upon the earth, water, and even the air — while questioning the notion of the Anthropocene, a proposed epoch defined by unprecedented human impact on Earth’s ecosystems.

But as these works show, nature does not yield so easily. This exhibition goes beyond human-centric narratives, encouraging viewers to imagine the silent resilience of nature and other life forms — plants, animals, or even natural materials subtly embedded within artificial objects. Visitors will encounter water pipes transformed into sculpture, ordinary vessels carrying hidden meanings, and speculative plant genetics generated by AI, prompting reflection on the future of all living things.

A highlight of the exhibition is its immersive spatial design by Elemental Living in collaboration with botanical artist Satit Puttawararak, transforming this urban venue into a seamless meeting point between nature and art.

A Space for Questions and Reflection Beyond art appreciation, the exhibition invites visitors to observe, experiment, and reconsider their relationship with the world around them. Whether we are aware of it or not, everything is interconnected — even the smallest, most fragile, or seemingly insignificant things contribute to the fabric of life on Earth.

Who is this exhibition for? For everyone curious to see nature through the lens of contemporary art — art enthusiasts, designers, thinkers, students, or anyone wondering how humans and nature can still coexist in today's world.

About the Artists

Amornthep Mahamart - A ceramic and mixed-media artist known for harmoniously blending natural materials, cultural references, and diverse techniques. A graduate in printmaking from Chiang Mai University’s Faculty of Fine Arts, Amornthep began his ceramic journey in 1990, working alongside master artisans in Chiang Mai before pursuing further studies in India and Japan. His work evolved from functional ceramics to large-scale sculpture and installations that explore the human-nature relationship through the use of locally significant materials. For Amornthep, ceramics are inherently interdisciplinary — bridging sculpture, painting, and printmaking — while serving as a tool for understanding and communicating the delicate bonds between humans and the environment. He actively conducts workshops and lectures nationwide to share this philosophy.

Chatchaiwat Chungchoo

A ceramic artist whose practice merges wheel-thrown forms with abstract sculpture, expressing emotion and internal states through rhythmically shaped surfaces. After graduating from Silpakorn University and Chiang Mai University, he founded Chatchaiwat Pottery Studio in Phrae province. His work embodies the belief that both nature and human intention shape artistic outcomes.

Working primarily with hand-formed stoneware, plant ash glazes, and high-temperature firing, Chatchaiwat embraces the unpredictable, allowing chance and control to coexist beautifully in his creations.

Pratchaya Charernsook - A mixed-media artist from Chumphon province who transforms ocean plastic waste into art that questions environmental degradation and human behavior. Her practice began with beach clean-up projects during her undergraduate studies at Silpakorn University’s Faculty of Painting, Sculpture, and Graphic Arts. Her graduate research focused on microplastics — microscopic fragments embedded in sand and sea — highlighting the fragility of ecosystems and humanity’s enduring marks on the planet.

Pratchaya’s works are not merely upcycled materials but critical tools for linking daily life to environmental issues, inspiring reflection on humanity’s impact at every level.

Warissara Jiratticharoen - A Chiang Mai-born, Bangkok-based mixed-media artist exploring the blurred boundaries between nature, technology, and imagination. A graduate of Communication Design from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (SoA+D), Warissara’s practice combines physical and digital media to question how humans construct meaning, perception, and value. Her work dismantles conventional separations between living and non-living things, human and non-human, challenging anthropocentric thinking and inviting viewers to reconsider their place in a more-than-human world.
