All Colours of Love, a Place to Remember

To commemorate the historic legalization of marriage equality in Thailand and to celebrate Pride Month 2025, the Museum of Broken Relationships, Chiang Mai warmly invites everyone to participate in the campaign, “All Colours of Love, a Place to Remember.” This initiative opens a space that embraces all kinds of love and identities, inviting individuals to share their stories, express their truths, and reflect on relationships that carry deep emotional significance. 

“All Colours of Love, a Place to Remember” not only serves as a safe and inclusive environment for every identity and stories but also continues the museum’s core mission: to preserve and present personal experiences through meaningful ‘objects’ and heartfelt confessions. Throughout the month of June, the museum will feature a special edition Confession Book in its Confession Room, where members of the LGBTQIA+ community, allies, and all visitors are encouraged to document their experiences of love, identity, loss, and connection—in their own words, on their own terms. 

At the Museum of Broken Relationships, we believe that love and loss transcend gender, status, and form. Every love story, every farewell, holds its own power and meaning—and deserves to be heard, honored, and remembered. This is not only a space for preserving memory, but also a sanctuary for acceptance, healing, and the celebration of love in all its expressions. 

Visitors will also encounter a curated display of collection objects and personal stories donated by individuals across the spectrum of gender and sexuality—each memory standing as a powerful testament to the complexity, vulnerability, and resilience of love. We welcome all to take part in this month-long celebration of diversity, remembrance, and emotional truth.
