Osaka World Expo 2025

Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan is a world-class exposition that will be held on Yumeshima Island in Osaka, Japan, from April 13 to October 13, 2025. The event’s main theme is “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.”

Event Highlights

• Grand Ring: A massive wooden structure stretching 2 kilometers and standing 20 meters tall, designed by architect Sou Fujimoto. It is constructed using local woods such as cedar and cypress, combining traditional techniques with metal frameworks to withstand earthquakes.

• Pavilions from Over 160 Countries: Each country will showcase cutting-edge technologies and creative ideas, such as robots, flying cars, and innovations in health and well-being.

• Theme Weeks: Special programs focused on key topics such as health and well-being, learning and play, food, clothing, and housing.

• Mascot “Myaku-Myaku”: A colorful and lively character that represents the Expo and brings fun and excitement to visitors of all ages.
