Balloon Museum 2024

Balloon Museum is a format created by a curatorial team that designs and realizes contemporary art exhibitions with specific works in which ‘air’ is a distinctive element. A journey through out-of-scale installations with unexpected shapes in which the interaction with viewers is placed at the center of the experience. Art one can touch, to live with and share, never static that creates an innovative relationship with the user, giving life to an experiential path of socialization. This unconventional approach to culture is fascinating and intriguing to adults and children, as they are passionate and curious, and are helping to establish Inflatable Art as one of the most acclaimed ‘Pop’ movements in the world.

Pop Air is the first Exhibition dedicated to the Inflatable Art in Italy. Many artists, over the years, have faced with the element of air and its containment within unusual shapes and materials, as well as several, have measured themselves with sculptures made with assembly and modeling of balloons of different shapes and sizes. The artists interpreted the themes and the mission of the exhibition, in order to involve the visitor through a constant stimulation to see, feel and live the experience. The exhibition has been conceived to be a unique path which includes several kinds of artworks: huge art installations, inflatable sculptures, interactive and digital artworks. And finally, a dedicated video gallery will go deeper into the history of inflatable art.
