The 48th Vintage Car Concours

The 48th Vintage Car Concours is one of Thailand’s major events dedicated to vintage cars, classic cars, and collectible automobiles. Organized by the Vintage Car Club of Thailand in collaboration with Future Park and Zpell, the event is held under the theme “Legacy of Innovation.”

The event invites visitors of all generations to experience the value, history, and timeless charm of classic automobiles through more than 100 vintage and classic cars displayed across over 4,000 square meters on the G Floor of Future Park and Zpell.

Key Highlights & Activities

The vintage car contest is divided into 7 categories according to the standards of the Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens, or FIVA. The categories include Ancestor cars before 1904, Veteran cars from 1905 - 1918, Vintage cars from 1919 - 1930, Pre-War cars from 1931 - 1945, Post-War cars from 1946 - 1960, Classic cars from 1961 - 1970, and Contemporary Classic cars from 1971 to the present, counted back 30 years.

Featured cars this year include the nearly 100-year-old Rolls-Royce 20hp Saloon from 1929, the Austin 7 Saloon from 1933 featured on the event poster, the Porsche 911 Carrera Super Sport 3.2 Targa from 1986, and the Porsche 911 Carrera Super Sport 3.2 Cabriolet from 1989, both legally imported from overseas for preservation.

The event also includes additional contest categories such as model cars, modified cars, specially built cars, Jaguar cars, Mini cars, Volkswagen cars, American cars, and Fiat cars, along with special display vehicles for visitors to enjoy up close.

Event Activities

Beyond the car display and contest, the 48th Vintage Car Concours features a variety of activities designed to make the world of vintage automobiles more accessible and enjoyable for all visitors. One of the key activities is a knowledge-sharing talk on the topic “Thailand’s First Year of Opening Vintage Car Imports: What Are the Results?”

Visitors can also join the Lucky Rally Scan activity to hunt for highlight cars and complete missions for a chance to win special prizes, spin the lucky wheel to win adorable vintage car models, and capture memorable moments at a classic vintage-style Photo Booth.

The event also features concerts of classic hit songs, vintage product sales, books, magazines, vintage car stamps, model cars, and collectible items, making it ideal for car lovers, collectors, families, and younger generations interested in learning the stories behind legendary automobiles.
