Uramado AR – Tanukis Awake is an innovative interactive art exhibition using Augmented Reality (AR), created by digital artist Julie Stephen Chheng as part of Galleries’ Nights. The exhibition transforms the city into a playful AR landscape, inviting visitors to explore hidden stories through their mobile devices.

Participants embark on a magical urban treasure hunt to discover Tanukis—forest spirits awakening in the heart of the city. Using the URAMADO app, visitors can interact with the Tanukis, answer questions, and uncover their own totem animal and elemental identity, creating a personalized and immersive experience.
