Soul of Garden

River City Bangkok proudly presents “Soul of Garden,” the first solo exhibition by artist Warisa, who explores the profound relationship between humans, nature, and the spiritual essence of space through contemplative artistic expressions.

In Warisa’s perspective, a garden is more than a landscape—it is a living presence that coexists with humanity. The breathing soil, deep-rooted plants, trembling leaves, and fleeting blossoms symbolize the delicate balance between life, memory, and transformation.

Through each brushstroke, the exhibition becomes a quiet dialogue between humans and nature, reflecting how gardens serve as shared spaces of memory and meaning—from temple gardens for meditation, to private home gardens filled with personal stories, and public gardens that welcome rest and connection.

The exhibition is also designed as an immersive emotional journey for visitors, guiding them through five conceptual stages:

• Perfection – the state of expectation and ideal form
• Searching – questioning and exploring inner thoughts
• Confusion – navigating the complexity of emotions and ideas
• Reflection – a moment of stillness and contemplation
• Release – letting go and embracing a sense of lightness

Throughout the experience, the “garden” gently whispers questions—not to provide definitive answers, but to invite visitors to listen to their own inner voices and rediscover the connection between human existence and nature.
