If one day, the greatest beauty of nature came from human experiments… would you still see it the same way?
Number 1 Gallery invites you to explore a futuristic imaginary world through the perspective of Pawarisa Wangkamphoo in the exhibition “Silent Carnival: The Festival of Silence.” This exhibition resembles a delicate fable of the future, where the artist conveys her visions, thoughts, and emotions on canvas.
In a world collapsing under disasters, pollution, and waste, life forms are not only forced into extinction but also into evolution for survival. Flowers blooming in desolate places may bear seeds shaped like skulls; descendants of humans may have unusual skin tones, bones hardened like metal, or even forms half-human, half-animal — all born as consequences of human impact and experimentation.
