The Nong Khai Isan Grand Songkran Festival 2026 is one of the most important Songkran celebrations in Northeastern Thailand, held to preserve local traditions and cultural heritage. The event centers around paying respect to Luang Pho Phra Sai, the sacred Buddha image of Nong Khai, through water-pouring ceremonies and merit-making activities.

Visitors can experience a meaningful blend of spiritual rituals, traditional Isan culture, and lively entertainment including Mor Lam performances and cultural shows throughout the festival.
