Heartbroken, Please Come This Way
The Exhibition Department of the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) proudly presents #HeartbrokenPleaseComeThisWay, a contemporary art exhibition and workshop project exploring issues of stability and instability among human resources within the contemporary art ecosystem.
The exhibition focuses on artists and creators who continue to struggle for survival within the art industry — those who may never have been accepted by institutional systems, who have faced repeated rejection, or who stepped away from the art scene yet continue creating. The project highlights critical, honest artistic reflections rooted in the belief that making art is a right and a necessity, not a privilege.
More than a symbolic exhibition, the project aims to create a long-term learning process and gradual structural change. It encourages participating artists to reclaim confidence in their own value, affirm artistic practice as both a profession and a way of life, and openly share experiences of failure, struggle, and resilience — stories often silenced within mainstream art narratives.
