Bun Bang Fai Duean 7 Festival 2026

Bun Bang Fai Duean 7 Festival 2026 is an important local tradition in Nong Khai Province, held to preserve the Isan merit-making custom of the seventh lunar month and to pay homage to Luang Pho Phra Sai.

Organized by Nong Khai Municipality in collaboration with Wat Pho Chai Royal Temple, the festival invites residents, visitors, and devotees to witness traditional rocket processions and experience the cultural identity of the local community.

On 31 May 2026, visitors can enjoy a traditional rocket procession from local communities. The procession starts from the pawnshop area and proceeds to Wat Pho Chai Royal Temple from 7:00 PM onwards.

The festival also features traditional rocket launching activities at Ban Nong Ngu Lueam Rocket Launching Field, Khai Bok Wan Subdistrict, Mueang Nong Khai District. This highlight reflects local faith, community unity, and the enduring cultural heritage of Northeastern Thailand.
